Hidalgo Pharr - Hidalgo Reynosa Border Crossing.

There are three border crossings in the Pharr region that allow the cross-border movement of privately operated vehicles, pedestrians, buses, and commercial trucks. Each of these bridges connect Pharr to its sister city, Reynosa, in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. The Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge began operations in 1996 and since its opening, all northbound commercial traffic in the region crosses there.
The bridge quickly has become one of the primary commercial vehicle crossings along the Texas-Mexico border, serving industrial parks and maquiladoras on the eastern side of Reynosa. The McAllen-Hidalgo International Bridge serves southbound commercial vehicles, as well as privately operated vehicles and pedestrians in both directions. The Anzalduas International Bridge opened in 2009 and is located on the western side of Reynosa. The facility handles privately operated vehicles, buses, and pedestrians in both directions.
The Hidalgo/Pharr - Hidalgo border crossing connects the Mexican city of Reynosa to the US cities of Pharr and Hidalgo in Texas. Commercial vehicles are not allowed to cross at the Hidalgo port of entry, also known as the McAllen-Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge. The Pharr crossing uses the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge. The Hidalgo border crossing into the US usually takes much longer than passing south into Mexico. The average wait time is around 20 minutes. The Pharr border crossing is open from 6 am to midnight and the wait is usually very short except for early in the morning when it can reach 30 minutes.
